Be strong and very courageous…

This morning my husband and I participated in virtual worship with our home church https://www.collegechurchofchrist.org/. As we sat in our living room with the service streaming on our television, we listened to preacher Noel Whitlock deliver a message on giving our worries to God. In preparation for the Lord’s Supper, last night I prepared homemade communion bread along with the fruit of the vine and we listened to Dr. Michael Clapton remind us of how important communing with God is now and always. We sang along with the Harding University concert choir and felt our burdens and worries subside. It was a very meaningful and inspirational service.
One of my “go-to” bible verses for most of my adult life is from Joshua 1:9 where God tells me to “be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Even when life is hard, uncertain and filled with hopelessness, God reminds me He is with me wherever I go.
Today I am grateful for…
1. God’s amazing grace.
2. God giving me breadth in my lungs.
3. God giving me light in my eyes.
4. God providing flowers at my feet.
5. God giving me work to do.
6. God providing a well-lit path just for me.
7. God giving me an overwhelming fantastic family!
8. God giving me a supportive church family.
9. God providing for all of my needs and beyond.
10. God providing peace for my soul.
May the peace of God transcend your life today and in the days to come.
Many blessings!
